As a basic and strategic support of economic development, the logistics industry plays a crucial role in the national economy. It connects various economic sectors and gives them an organic integrity, so that its degree of development has become one of the important measurements of a country's degree of modernization and national strength.
With the economy developing sharply, China has witnessed the rapid development of the modern logistics industry. The development speed of China's logistics technology and equipment industry is first in the world. In addition, China's logistics equipment market is gradually becoming the world's largest, and is expected to reach about 410 trillion yuan in 2021.
Under these circumstances, the International Cross-border Digital Logistics Expo will be held to actively respond to the implementation of the national strategy of the Belt and Road Initiative, and to participate in the construction of the Maritime Silk Road. It will link the market chains of major economic sectors connecting ASEAN, South Asia, West Asia, North Africa, as well as Europe. The expo is expected to bring great development opportunities for the logistics industry.
It is supported by the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, the People's Government of Hainan Province, and the China Federation of Logistics and Procurement. It is organized by the Hainan Provincial Federation of Logistics and Procurement, the Hainan Cold Chain Logistics Association, the Guangdong Cross-Border E-commerce Association and Hainan Huagang Cross-Strait Convention and Exhibition Services Co Ltd.
