As a key construction project for the independent customs operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Sanya International Yachting Center, the "second-line port" Sanya Port Area, has now completed all acceptance inspections and is ready for operation.
Relying on the Sanya International Yachting Center, this project not only features the first batch of professional yacht inspection berths since the implementation of the Free Trade Port policies but also builds a 30-second express customs clearance system through intelligent and intensive construction, providing an innovative model for the free movement of yachts among Hainan, Hong Kong, and Macao.
The project is on floor -1 of Building No 3 of the Sanya International Yachting Center. It is an important infrastructure for the outbound movement of yachts at the "second line" of Sanya Port. The construction started in December 2022, and the main construction work has now been completed, while the acceptance inspection has already passed.
As an important infrastructure for the closed-loop operation of the Hainan FTP, we have developed a standardized process for the outbound movement of yachts at the 'second line'. This initiative promotes the growth of a new-type port economy and facilitates the realization of the efficient 'just-go' free movement of yachts," said the person in charge of the port. It is designed to support the construction of the Sanya Yacht Industry Reform, Development, and Innovation Pilot Zone, enhancing Sanya's efforts to build a core area of the international tourism and consumption center.
