Sanya has recently been awarded the title of model city for health city construction in Hainan province in 2022, maintaining its position as the top-ranked healthcare city in the province for three consecutive years.
According to the2022 Evaluation Report on Health City (County) Construction in Hainan Province, the assessment is based on 56 data indicators, including the proportion of days with excellent air quality and the rate of qualified drinking water.
Sanya achieved a comprehensive score of 75 points, up 4.6 percent compared to the previous year, and secured the top spot in the province.
