On March 21, Sanya held the third Hainan Tropical Fruit Industry Expo and Spring Fruit Fair, providing an important platform for Sanya's agricultural products to broaden sales channels.

The exhibition covers an area of 6,000 square meters, setting up 115 booths and attracting over 200 exhibitors. The expo has won the favor of buyers by exhibiting high-quality fruit varieties such as mangoes, wax apples, dragon fruit, and jackfruit.

Additionally, the expo attracted provincial and county-level exhibitors from Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Guangdong. Shanxi and Shaanxi hoped to promote fruit sales such as pears and apples, while Guangdong carried out sales promotions for litchi and pineapples.

On the first day of the expo, orders worth 732 million yuan ($106 million) were placed for fruit products, with an overall intention to sell about 84,000 metric tons of fruits and vegetables. Purchasers have shown strong interest in fruits such as jackfruit, melons, durians, papayas, and mangoes in Sanya.

This expo not only gathered a large number of merchants, but also attracted many e-commerce streamers, who sell fruit through live streams.

In recent years, Sanya's mango industry cluster has been developing continuously, and emerging industries such as durian and dragon fruit have begun to take shape. Every year, more than 500,000 tons of high-quality tropical fruits are flown from Sanya to more than 100 cities in China, and exported to overseas markets such as Singapore, Canada and Germany, with an annual sales volume of nearly 8 billion yuan.
