In 2021, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, China's foreign trade demonstrated strong resilience, surging 21.4 percent to 39.1 trillion yuan ($6.05 trillion). Its exports alone expanded by 21.2 percent year-on-year to 21.73 trillion yuan.
