The "A Date with China·Meet Xinjiang" media tour visited the port area on Monday. The port serves as the nearest interchange of the China-Europe freight railways to Central Asia, West Asia, and Europe, connecting 19 countries and 26 cities to date. Xinjiang's local products such as steel, chemical products, and dried fruits are exported, while woods, edible oil, and grain are imported through the port. [Photo/chinadaily.com.cn]
