At the 2024 World Manufacturing Convention, 718 projects were signed with a total investment of 369.2 billion yuan (about $52.48 billion). Among these, 679 focused on manufacturing, making up 95% of the projects and 89% of the investment. The event in Hefei, Anhui province, featured 451 exhibitors across a 20,000 sq m area, showcasing 2,605 products, including 236 premieres. This year also introduced an outdoor section for intelligent vehicles, drones, and humanoid robots, attracting the largest number of international participants and foreign guests to date, representing 41 countries and regions.
