The 2024 CIFTIS will be held in Beijing from Sept 12 to 16. To facilitate the participation of international representatives and China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises and institutions at the fair, a package of entry, exit and residence service policies will be introduced. The policies include the following eight provisions:
1.Set up entry-exit service counters at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) sites (National Convention Center and Shougang Park) to provide policy consultation and facilitate entry-exit document processing for exhibitors.
2.Foreigners with invitation letters attending exhibitions in Beijing can apply for visas at the port visa counters of Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport.
3.Allow overseas personnel attending exhibitions in Beijing to register for accommodation online.
4.Foreign business people attending the exhibition in Beijing for purposes such as continuing negotiations and project investment in China can receive on-site consultation on visa extension, renewal and reissue, and access the nearest 21 foreign entry and exit service venues in the city.
5.Qualified senior foreign executives can apply for permanent residence in China with relevant recommendation letters.
6.Provide convenience for Chinese companies participating in the exhibition to register their business activities and apply for business endorsements for Hong Kong and Macao.
7.If foreigners attending the exhibition in Beijing accidentally lose their passports, they can obtain a "Foreigner Passport Loss Report Certificate" at any police station or entry-exit administration department and apply for expedited processing of visas.
8.If business people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan attending the exhibition in Beijing accidentally lose their entry and exit documents, they can apply for replacement documents via the green channel.
