Recently, Chenggong district, Kunming, held a ceremony to launch key projects for the first quarter of 2024. The 27 projects launched have a total planned investment of 10.89 billion yuan($1.39 billion), including 14 projects with planned investments exceeding 100 million yuan.

These projects cover a wide range of fields, including the digital economy, industrial manufacturing, modern medicine, higher education, infrastructure, commerce, and logistics.

There are 10 projects in the industrial and information technology sectors, with newly initiated projects accounting for 58.8 percent of the total planned investment in major projects exceeding 100 million yuan.

These projects are expected to accelerate industrial transformation and inject new impetus into the high-quality development of Chenggong district. The district government has rolled out measures to improve administration services and facilitate the implementation of major projects.
