Huawei CFO: 5G a boon to China's development

Meng Wanzhou, deputy chairwoman, rotating chairwoman and chief financial officer of Huawei Technologies Co, delivered a speech at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2023 on June 28.

She said the developmental focus of 5G is shifting from quantitative growth to qualitative growth while China had over 561 million 5G users in 2022.

"In China's quest to forge ahead, there will be many challenges. All these uncertainties, however, will only make the sailor stronger."
