Foreign-invested enterprises can be registered as limited liability companies, joint-stock limited companies or partnership enterprises, with specification about whether the investment is from a foreign region or from China's Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan. In the case of joint-stock companies, whether they are listed or not shall be specified.
