Global OEM PSS settles Suzhou manufacturing, R&D center in SND

Global original equipment manufacturer Precision Surfacing Solutions Group will build its Suzhou manufacturing and R&D center in Suzhou New District, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province.

The news was released at a signing ceremony between PSS and SND on April 14.

The center is expected to become a major production and R&D center of PSS for the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets, as well as bolster the development of the high-end equipment manufacturing sector in SND.

Mao Wei, secretary of the Party working committee of SND, welcomed Brian Nelson, chief executive officer of PSS, noting that PSS is a globally-leading grinding and polishing equipment manufacturer.

Mao expressed hope that PSS will leverage its industrial advantages to bring more high-end technologies and projects to SND. He also said that SND will, as usual, offer efficient administrative services to help PSS's project be put into operation as soon as possible.

Nelson said that setting up operations in SND is a major strategic move for PSS and that the district's solid industrial foundation and favorable business environment have shored up their confidence in future development.

PSS will stay in close contact with SND authorities and deepen exchanges and cooperation, he added.
