Top 10 Chinese cities in foreign trade

Financial media outlet Yicai released rankings of the top 20 Chinese cities in terms of foreign trade based on data from the General Administration of Customs in the first two months.

Among these 20 cities in terms of import and export, more than a half of these cities are located in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions, and three cities in the central and western regions including Chengdu, Zhengzhou and Chongqing.

Shanghai took the top spot in the ranking of import and export term with the figure up 0.7 percent from a year earlier, followed by Beijing and Shenzhen.

Now, let's take a look at the top 10 Chinese cities in foreign trade.

 

No 10 Tianjin

Import and export scale: 120.29 billion yuan ($17.5 billion)
