Dali National Economic and Technological Development Zone, approved by the State Council to be a national-level zone in 2014, possesses special geographic advantages to strengthen its internal and external connections and exchanges.The zone covers an area of 399 square kilometers, with a planned area of 116.1 square kilometers, which encompasses Fengyi Zone, Tianjing Zone, and Yangmeiping Zone.It has three-dimensional transportation networks including highways, railways and aviation. The infrastructure is becoming perfect and the effect of industrial assembly is emerging.The zone has formed an industrial cluster with modern equipment manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, processing of agricultural and sideline products and modern services as pillar industries, integrating related facilities, division of labor, and social services.By the end of 2020, the zone attracted 6,363 enterprises, with a registered capital of 35.041 billion yuan ($5 billion). It has 50 industrial enterprises above designated size and 14 national high-tech enterprises.It introduced leading companies such as Yunnan Ouya Dairy Products, Carlsberg Marston's Brewing, SF Express, Yunnan Baiyao Qingyitang Industrial, and more.Dali National ETDZ will build itself as a platform for opening-up to explore a new path for transformation, innovation and development that highlights its unique strengths.
