The 5th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair was launched online on Dec 26. 

This year's fair is displayed on the Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair Trading Network. Viewers can also access the fair through the WeChat applet "Cloud Expo", the Shanxi Daily applet, as well as Shanxi Radio and Television Station's "Yellow River Plus" applet, within its 30 day duration.

The fair is sponsored by multiple provincial government departments in Shanxi province, Taiyuan municipal government and the management committee of the Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone.

It uses big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality panorama technologies to simulate scenes from the on-site Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair. The fair is divided into three exhibition halls regarding the high-quality cultural development, cultural industries in prefecture-level cities, and cultural creative consumption. 

The fair showcases Shanxi's new achievements in the deep integration of culture and tourism, the protection of cultural relics and heritage, the high-quality development of State-owned cultural enterprises, as well as the new achievements in the development of cultural industries across the province.

In addition to the exhibition, the fair will also hold a forum on the high-quality development of publishing in the new era. It has invited experts and renowned entrepreneurs in the publishing industry to come together to discuss the development of Shanxi's publishing industry.
