For example, a 1.4-meter-tall and 1-meter-wide robot, developed by Lingdu (Guangdong) Intelligent Technology Development Co Ltd, which specialises in the research and development of high-altitude curtain wall cleaning robots, can climb automatically to walls of high buildings.

Its cleaning efficiency is more than three times higher than that of manual cleaning, without external water pipes, gas pipes and power supplies, according to the company.

The climbing robot has helped clean glass walls of more than 120 high buildings across the country, including iconic eastern and western towers in Guangzhou, according to the company.
