Taniguchi Megumi, a Japanese language teacher for IT workers in Dalian for more than 20 years, has witnessed great changes in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning province.

Dalian High-tech Industrial Zone, where she works and lives, has become an innovative center for the city's flourishing software and information service industry. Megumi loves the coastal city of Dalian where there are many places to relax after work. She is also very impressed by the city's digital development over the decades as it has become very convenient to make payment, book ticket and travel around with a phone.

“Dalian has become a real partner of Japan,” she said.
