Top 10 Chinese listed companies by brand value

Tencent won first place in a ranking of listed companies' brand value in 2022, followed by Alibaba, Kweichow Moutai, China Mobile and JD, according to a report jointly released by National Business Daily and the China Business Research Center of School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University.

The overall brand value of the Top 100 companies reached 1.57 trillion yuan ($234.6 billion), up 7.5 percent year-on-year.

The internet industry generated 2.65 trillion yuan of brand value, ranking first among other industries and accounting for 16.8 percent of the Top 100.

Four industries - retail, finance, beverages and automobiles — saw their brand value exceed 1 trillion yuan.
