High-tech careers draw young people to Xinjiang Software Park

Young people have found careers in the high-tech sector in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region as the Xinjiang Software Park in Urumqi, the region's capital city, offers them opportunities.

As of last May, some 560 enterprises, including iFLYTEK, an intelligent voice technology company, and telecommunications giant Huawei registered in the park, the park said.

High-tech companies will get up to 150,000 yuan ($23,198) of incentives. Startup talents will receive up to 1.5 million yuan as supporting funds and enjoy favorable policies in purchasing property and vehicles.
