The 22nd China International Fair for Investment & Trade will be held in Xiamen, Fujian province, from Sep 8 to 11, 2022.

The China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China, takes place every September in Xiamen, East China’s Fujian province.

Themed around "Introducing FDI" and "Going Global," the CIFIT focuses on nationality and internationality, investment negotiation and investment policy promotion, the coordinated development of both national and regional economies, as well as economic and trade exchanges across the Taiwan Straits.

The CIFIT is currently China's only international investment promotion event aimed at facilitating bilateral investment. It is also the largest global investment event approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

The CIFIT is poised to become the world's most prestigious international investment exposition. It has the following major components: an investment and trade exhibition, the International Investment Forum (IIF), a series of seminars on hot investment issues, and investment project matchmaking symposiums.

Hosted at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, the CIFIT is jointly organized by the Fujian provincial government, the Xiamen municipal povernment, and the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce.

The CIFIT not only showcases the investment environments, policies, projects, and corporate products of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in China, but also attracts investment promotion agencies from more than 40 countries and regions.

The CIFIT offers optimal opportunities for business people at home and abroad to get an overview of the investment climate in China and other countries. It also provides them with a one-stop shopping service for multilateral investment cooperation, helping them to choose from the widest range of investment projects and business partners.

The first CIFIT was hosted in 1997, with the participation of 6,200 exhibitors from 52 countries and regions, and generated $6.22 billion in deals. The 2019 CIFIT ran from Sept. 8-11, and had 15,000 exhibitors from 130 countries and regions, inking 2,100 deals worth a total of $37.5 billion.

The 21st China International Fair for Investment & Trade will be held in Xiamen, Fujian province, from Sep 8 to 11, 2021.
