The 2021 Shanghai Book Fair will be held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from Aug 11 to 17.
The Shanghai Book Fair is a large-scale book fair that showcases and disseminates China's excellent culture to the world, and plays an important role in advancing multicultural exchanges and interactions between China and foreign countries.
The Shanghai Book Fair is sponsored by the National Radio and Television Administration and the Shanghai municipal people's government, and is co-organized by Shanghai's Jing'an district government.
After accumulating more than ten years of experience and brand building, the Shanghai Book Fair has gradually grown from a local book fair to a nationally cultural event, becoming a well-known national cultural brand and demonstration platform for national reading activities.
Each session of the book fair has prepared more than 150,000 books for readers, fully displaying the latest publication products and achievements in the fields of books, audiovisual electronics, newspapers, digital publishing, copyright and other fields in the national publishing industry.
The 2021 Shanghai Book Fair will be held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from Aug 11 to 17.
According to the organizers, this year's fair will have its exhibition space expanded to an unprecedented 30,000 square meters.
This year, the fair will, for the first time, invite online bookstores, such as JD, and e-commerce platforms on the short-video sharing platform Douyin to participate in the showcase.
