The 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services was held from September 2 to 6 in China National Convention Center and Shougang Park in Beijing.

The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is the country's first comprehensive platform specializing in trade in services around the world.

Hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Government, CIFTIS was annually held in Beijing from 2012 to 2014. It then became a biennial event between 2014 and 2018, before once again becoming an annual one in 2019. The event is supported by the World Trade Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The 2020 CIFTIS was the first major international economic and trade activity held online and offline in China. A total of 190 forums and negotiation sessions covering all 12 fields of trade in service were held.

The CIFTIS focuses on services and trade in services, and sends a positive signal of China's adherence to economic globalization and deepening international economic and trade cooperation. It builds consensus of all parties on promoting the development of trade in services, and creates opportunities for development with practical actions.
