The first phase of Air Liquide Group's Wuxi Second Factory and its China Big Data Analysis Center started operation in Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) on March 15.

With a total investment of $60 million and a registered capital of $30 million, the two new plants started construction in 2019, aiming to provide production and operation support for key integrated circuit companies. Air Liquide Group will make use of big data analysis technology to improve the performance of its Chinese plants, optimize their energy consumption, and contribute to China's low-carbon transformation.

Nicolas Poirot, president and CEO of Air Liquide China, spoke highly of the business environment in Wuxi. He said that the company's Wuxi branch has become the largest high-purity electronic nitrogen manufacturing base of the group.

As a Fortune 500 company, Air Liquide Group is the world's top provider of industrial and medical gases, as well as related services. The group provides industrial gas security services in WND for SK Hynix, Huahong, and Murata.
