We are utterly impressed by the extraordinary efforts being made by China and its people in facing the current challenge. It once again proves the country's incredible capability and boundless courage.

Ferrero believes China's sound and sustainable economic development in the long run will remain unchanged, and China's economy has shown strong resilience even amid the outbreak's short-lived impact.

We expect China's consumption demand to recover rapidly once the epidemic has been dealt with. In the meantime, several new opportunities have emerged, such as acceleration of omnichannel transformation and e-commerce, which are expected to generate new engagement with consumers.

As a company that has been rooted in China for more than 20 years, Ferrero holds a long-term vision for and commitment to China's market, in line with our intention to 'Take Root in China, Serve in China and Grow with China'. We feel compelled to fulfill our responsibility to support the fight against the epidemic, and we will continue to invest and expand our footprint in this country.
