Liaoning in 70 years: Rebirth of a heavyweight

Editor's note: Northeast China's Liaoning was triumphant in the early days of PRC, producing about 30 percent of the country's electricity and 60 percent of its steel, as well as its first airplane and supertanker. After a difficult phrase of decline and restructure, the province is ready for another rejuvenation in the New Era.
