According to the statistics of news release of foreign investment, from January to September 2019, Newly Approved Foreign-invested Enterprises amounted to 30,871, down by 32.8 percent year on year; and the actual use of foreign investment reached USD100.78b（RMB 683.21billion), up by 2.9 percent year on year.

According to the statistics of news release of foreign investment, in September 2019, Newly Approved Foreign-invested Enterprises amounted to 3,167, down by 31 percent year on year; and the actual use of foreign investment reached USD 11.52b（RMB 79.18billion）, up by 0.5 percent year on year.

From January to September this year, the top ten nations and regions with investment in China (as per the actual input of foreign capital) are as follows: Hong Kong (USD71.63b) , Singapore (USD5.06b), R.O.K.(USD4.72b), Taiwan Province(USD3.41b), Japan (USD3.14b), U.S.A. (USD2.52b) , U.K. (USD1.98b), Macao (USD1.45b) , Germany (USD1.38b) and Netherlands (USD910m), total of which accounted for 95.5 percent of total actual use of foreign investment in the country.
