Yichun Fengcheng High-tech Industrial Development Zone

The State Council approved the Yichun Fengcheng High-tech Industrial Park to be upgraded to a national high-tech development zone on March 6, 2018.

The zone is home to 161 large industrial companies and 46 national high-tech companies. In 2017, the zone’s main business income amounted to 70 billion yuan ($10.37 billion), a year-on-year rise of 15.51 percent and its total profit was 6.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.53 percent.

The zone has improved feature industries related to circular economy, promoted three emerging industries — advanced equipment manufacturing, life health and new materials and also strengthened the supporting role of modern service since 2013.

The zone will well implement the innovation-driven development strategy and improve related systems and mechanism.
