Tianjin Export Processing Zone

Tianjin Export Processing Zone was established in 2000 and started operation in 2001 after passing the joint examination and inspection by General Administration of Customs and eight State ministries and commissions. The zone is located at the northeastern Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area, with a planned area of 2.54 square kilometers.

Companies in the zone engage in many industries including clothes, textile, furniture, food, electronics and storage. Pillar industries of the zone are electronics and auto parts.

Sitting at the center of Bohai Rim Economy Circle, the export processing zone enjoys strategic significance due to its geographic location. Companies located in the zone enjoy a reliable and convenient transportation network, being 38km away from Tianjin Binhai International Airport, 150km away from Beijing Capital International Airport and 5km away from Tianjin Port, the largest cargo port in North China.

As a State-level zone in the industry, the zone enjoys a series of preferential tax policies. So far, it has set up various infrastructural facilities to satisfy the different production requirements of different companies.
