Zhangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Fujian province, formerly Fujian Nanjing High-tech Industrial Development Zone, was established around 2004 after merging the provincial-level Zhangzhou and Nanjing high-tech industrial parks.

It was renamed into Zhangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone by the provincial government in November 2012, and was upgraded into a national-level zone by the State Council in December the next year.

With a total planned area of 385 square kilometers, the zone can be divided into western, central and northern parts. Among them, the western part is dominated by high-tech industries, the central part concentrated on education, culture and tourism, and the eastern part focuses on commercial and business sectors.

In 2018, 27 major projects supported by the municipal and provincial governments were operated in the zone with total investment of 32 billion yuan ($4.6 billion).
