Forbes magazine released its latest China's 400 richest list on Oct 25. The wealthiest Chinese generated at least 5.8 billion yuan ($836 million) in 2018, although their total wealth declined from last year's 7.9 trillion yuan to 7.3 trillion yuan this year, according to the magazine.
Beijing has the most number of wealthy, 67 ,and manufacturing and real estate generated the largest number of the names, 72 in each industry.
Among the 400, 15 are younger than 40.
With spending on healthcare increasing, the pharmaceutical and healthcare companies made a strong showing this year, with 43 of the 400 from these two industries, three more than a year ago.
