Taxpayers in Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, now only need to wait five hours to get their invoices, thanks to improved services by the area's tax administration.

Since July, the service has covered a large number of taxpayers who have their invoice categories ratified in the tax department, with leveling at A, B, C and M in the area. Taxpayers can apply for the invoice online and choose the delivery service provided by China Post.

"In the past, enterprises had to provide personnel identification cards, tax servers, and invoice recipient books to the government service hall to get their invoices, which was a waste of time and money," said Ning Daping, deputy director of the tax window service department at the hall.

Ning hailed the new service as a beneficial tool for enterprises, through which users can learn more about invoice applications and check the delivery status via various online tools, such as the official website of the Guizhou Provincial Tax Service, SAT, and the public WeChat account of Guizhou China Post EMS.

Focusing on the strategy of Internet Plus Tax Service, the Guian tax administration has always been dedicated to optimizing its business environment by reducing costs and improving convenience for taxpayers.

The new online application and delivery service has served 50 enterprises in the area since it was launched nearly one month ago.
