The rapid development of the economy, the improvement of income levels, the update of consumer attitudes and the increase in paid holidays have contributed to the trend of more and more families dining out. With the increase of business contacts and social interaction activities, people will form closer ties. As a result, restaurants will be their top choice as places to conduct those social activities.

The macro environment of the hotel industry is promising. The Belt and Road Initiative, the integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and the construction of featured towns and other new economic growth poles and growth belts have brought new opportunities to the industry. At present, the Chinese government is vigorously promoting streamlining administration and delegating power to the lower levels, and reducing the tax burdens on enterprises to stimulate their vitality.

The consumption upgrade brings new opportunities for the development of the hotel industry. As the disposable income of residents rises the consumer market places new demands on the segmentation, specialization, and quality of the hotel industry; yet such needs have not been fully met. Meanwhile, ever-increasing domestic tourism has laid a foundation for the further expansion of the hotel industry.
