According to the statistics of news release of foreign investment, from January to August 2017, Newly Approved Foreign-invested Enterprises amounted to 20389, up by 10% year on year; and the actual use of foreign investment reached RMB 547.94b（USD 81.5billion）, down by 0.2% year on year.

According to the statistics of news release of foreign investment, in August 2017, Newly Approved Foreign-invested Enterprises amounted to 2686, down by 1.8% year on year; and the actual use of foreign investment reached RMB 62.52b（USD 9.36billion）, up by 9.1% year on year.

From January to August this year, the top ten nations and regions with investment in China (as per the actual input of foreign capital) are as follows: Hong Kong(USD59.7b),Taiwan Province(USD3.57b),Singapore(USD3.19b),Japan(USD2.04b), U.S.A.(USD1.99b),R.O.K.(USD1.98b),Netherlands (USD1.59b), Germany (USD1.3b), U.K.(USD960m) and France (USD690m), total of which accounted for 94.5% of total actual use of foreign investment in the country.
