Rockwell Automation made its debut at the CIIE last year. This experience was a unique and invaluable memory in my life.

At first, as the team leader, I faced much pressure when trying to figure out the most innovative and attractive way of bringing our advanced technologies to the CIIE.

Luckily, I was inspired and encouraged by the team along the way. My company, Rockwell Automation, is a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation. We have been adhering to the SEEE (Safety, Energy, Environmental and Efficiency) values and bringing the Connected Enterprise to life to empower the sustainable development of China.

With the guidance of the Chinese government and our expertise in smart manufacturing and digital transformation, the team finally came up with a fun idea to create an intelligent "Small World" of real-life scenarios that integrate physical models and digital technologies.

Our preparation went smoothly. Still, there were many challenges to face within limited time. With the support of our SMC (Smart Manufacturing Consulting) team, TCE-POC (The Connected Enterprise – Proof of Concept) innovative application development team, as well as the marketing and other cross-functional teams, we created the "Small World" with not only modern chemical industrial parks, wind farms, intelligent power transmission, but also smart buildings, smart logistics, as well as smart CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), and sustainable transportation and entertainment, in which innovative technologies were everywhere, empowering our intelligent life.

For instance, in the "Small World", we built a simulated cookie packaging line using its Digital Twins solutions. Audience are welcome to wear VR glasses to experience the factory just like how an engineer would in a real factory.

I very much look forward to the 5th CIIE and am eager to showcase more of Rockwell Automation’s advanced technologies and concepts to the world.
