Nanchang Xiaolan Economic and Technological Development Zone

Nanchang Xiaolan Economic and Technological Development Zone was established in March 2002 and upgraded to a national economic and technological development zone in July 2012.

The zone covers an area of 60.5 square kilometers, with the planned area of 59.1 square kilometers.

In 2017, the zone reached revenue of 113.6 billion yuan ($16.75 billion) from the main business, and its total industrial output value and fiscal income amounted to 128.2 billion yuan and 5.86 billion yuan, respectively. The comprehensive strength of the zone ranked first among the province’s industrial zones.

The zone boasts industrial advantages and is renowned for of its automobile, food and biological medicine industries. It has attracted 6 automobile programs and over 160 automotive parts companies, 78 food related enterprises and 36 medical firms. It is also home to many Fortune 500 companies including Ford, Lear and Isuzu, 32 listed companies, and more than 100 domestic top 200 companies.
