Linyi Comprehensive Free Trade Zone

Enjoying convenient regional advantages, the Linyi Comprehensive Free Trade Zone lies in the southeast of Linyi city, Shandong province. The zone has well-developed traffic networks integrating highways, railways, aviation and sea transportation. Approved by the State Council on Aug 8, 2014, the State-level zone passed its acceptance inspection with ten national ministeries on Sept 25, 2015.

Including six functional areas, the zone covers a planning area of 3.7 square kilometers. With numerous preferential tax and foreign exchange policies, it gives priority to developing bonded processing industries, including high-end electronic information, precision machinery, high-end equipment, biological medicine and intensive food processing.

In the first eight months, 266 foreign trade enterprises have earned revenues of $1.28 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 236 percent.

Over the past few years, the zone has devoted itself to building a manufacturing base that develops high-end electronic information products and engages in the research and development of precision machinery, aiming to become an international processing zone.
