State Council issues plans for government affairs service’s further reform

The State Council recently issued the further reform plans for the government affairs service to simplify administrative procedures and accelerate the establishment of the national online government service system.

The plans stated that 80 percent of the provincial-level government services will be available online by the end of 2018, as well as 50 percent of the city/ county-level government services. More than 50 percent of the city/ county-level government services can be conducted in one window at the government affairs hall. The materials required for government services should be reduced by more than 30 percent.

By the end of 2019, more than 90 percent of the provincial-level government services will be available online, as well as 70 percent of the city/ county-level government services. More than 70 percent of the city/ county-level government services can be conducted in one window at the government affairs hall. The materials required for government services should be reduced by more than 60 percent.
