Songming Yanglin Economic and Technological Development Zone

Songming Yanglin Economic and Technological Development Zone was approved and established by the People's Government of Yunnan Province in 1992 and was approved to be a national-level economic and technological development zone by the State Council in January, 2013.

With a planned area of 54.19 square kilometers, the zone has developed an industrial system focusing on the manufacturing of automobile and its parts and components, numerically-controlled machine tool and high-end electronic equipment, food and beverage industry, new material as well as modern commercial logistics.

Data shows that from January to November in 2017, the industrial fixed assets investment of the zone reached 3.57 billion yuan ($531.45 million), up by 220.07 percent year-on-year；revenue from the public finance budget reached 193 million yuan, up by 8.05 percent from the previous year; the export-import volume had totaled $45.98 million, up 55.6 percent year-on-year.
