According to the statistics of news release of foreign investment, in February 2019, Newly Approved Foreign-invested Enterprises amounted to 1,863, down by 49 percent year on year; and the actual use of foreign investment reached USD 9.28b(RMB 62.94billion), up by 3.3 percent year on year.
From January to February this year, the top ten nations and regions with investment in China (as per the actual input of foreign capital) are as follows: Hong Kong (USD15.59b) , R.O.K.(USD1.07b), Singapore (USD1b) , Taiwan Province(USD720m) , U.S.A. (USD640m), Japan (USD520m), Netherlands (USD400m), Germany (USD390m), U.K. (USD190m) and Luxembourg (USD130m), total of which accounted for 95.1 percent of total actual use of foreign investment in the country.
